In November of 1988, sixty-eight Virginia Baptist youth ministers met to begin the process of establishing a fellowship of peers to be called the Virginia Baptist Youth Ministers Association (VBYMA).

better way to increase effectiveness for our
common tasks than to join together to sharpen
and encourage one another!
The VBYMA wants
to assist you in ministry. Each member is vital
to the accomplishment of our purpose. Never
has the challenge to impact lives for Jesus Christ
through youth ministry been so great. Together,
we can accomplish even greater things.
