Virginia Baptist Handbell Festivals

Below are preliminary dates and locations for the upcoming events:

For this festival, we will provide 1 table for each octave of bells.
Additional table may be available if space allows. Music must be purchased and prepared before coming to the Festival.

About the Director – Tim Waugh

Serving since 1994 as Chair of the Department of Music and the Division of Fine Arts at PikeView High School, Tim directs choral, musical theatre, and handbell activities in a public education setting. He is in his 27th year as a public school educator, having spent 18 years teaching as an Elementary Music Specialist.

Well known to members of the community of the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers, Tim is a popular conductor, composer and clinician for many conferences and festivals for ringers and directors.

Tim holds a B.S. in Music Education in organ from Concord College in Athens, WV, minoring in woodwinds and voice. In the AGEHR organization, he is the past Education Coordinator for Area V, and past West Virginia State Chair. He continues to be active in the organization in his area and across the country.
