Impact! Mission Camps

IMPACT! is now the “umbrella” program name of a variety of youth mission camps offered by the Virginia Baptist Mission Board. While each project will have its own unique flavor there are a few similarities:

Multi-church, statewide event ranging from 100 – 300 in attendance

Designed for teenage students who have completed one of the grades 7th – 12th. There are possibilities for students entering the 7th grade or who are attending college to attend.

A ‘turn-key’ event meaning that most of the infrastructure is provided for you. Housing, meals, projects, worship, logistics, etc. are provided by our office. You simply need to pay a modest fee and bring your group. (I know, I know, it isn’t quite that simple – but you get the point)

Usually 1 week in length. Our international project will be a few days longer and we will offer a project that is only for a partial week.

All projects will have a ‘hands-on’ component as well as corporate worship.

Listed below are links to the four different 'styles' of IMPACT! mission camps that we will be hosting in 2008. Some of them are very familiar to our veterans and others will offer a new concept or twist to our mission opportunities.
