Provide caring, educational support and information for our ministry partners, in a manner dedicated to stewardship and integrity, enabling the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Provide information to church leaders regarding business and financial management issues of the church.
Assure proper allocation of church funds and provide reports to churches verifying accuracy. (Treasurer’s Report)
Collect and maintain pertinent church and associational profile data.
Respond in a timely and appropriate manner to church needs and requests.
Provide facilities for retreat and conference training.
Ensure that our methods of providing services are on the cutting edge technically.
Service the staff of the Virginia Baptist Mission Board by managing employee benefits.

Ministry Assistant
The Virginia Baptist Mission Board is seeking a self-motivated team player with integrity to serve as full-time Ministry Assistant with the BGAV Scholarships and Ministerial Educational Funds and the Emerging Leaders Team. Interested applicants must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook; and demonstrate an ability to learn other software applications. An excellent command of English composition and punctuation is needed, in addition to demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills, telephone manners, and discretion with confidential information. Willingness to master new tasks and functions is required. A college degree is preferred but those candidates with a high school diploma/G.E.D may apply.
